In the two decades I've served our industry as a saddle fitter, equine therapist and veterinary assistant, the same problems have arisen again and again. The number one reason we are unable to ride out horses is due to musculoskeletal issues meaning our horses are in pain. Soreness, compensation patterns and injuries are layering up over time. The Rad Equestrian Project was created with all equestrians in mind. I have had the opportunity to work with equestrians across North America in all disciplines for nearly 20 years. During this time I have interacted with clients as a saddle-fitter, equine therapist and veterinary assistant and office manager. The same observations have been made over and over again. A great number of equestrians have cracks in their foundation of knowledge. We aren't recognizing when our horses are starting to get sore in time to prevent back pain, injuries and missed training time.
