Oh baby, it's a wild world We do share the #ColumbiaValley with lots of #wildlife, including #Rams, #WildTurkeys and #Bears, but that's not why we chose this song. #CatStevens really wrote this about searching for peace and happiness in a crazy world. We can relate. Did you know, our original Recreation Center caught fire shortly after Wayne & Joyce bought RVVR? Thankfully the Village of #RadiumHotSprings and members of our community helped us rise from the ashes. We built a new, state-of-the-art Recreation Center with an arcade, fitness center and indoor/outdoor pools. More recent upgrades also include a Snak Shak and outdoor stage to accommodate live performances for our guests to enjoy in the summer. Lest We Forget Pictured here, is Harold Norman Holmgren, Wayne's father. It was taken in 1940, just before he shipped off to Europe. He later served our country as 2nd Lieutenant with the Calgary Highlanders Regiment. Today we honour the brave men and women who fought for and continue to serve our nation. Let's just say, it didn't always look this good. Shout out to the countless RVVR vacation club members who attended our annual "worker bee" weekends.
