I started working with the Miracon Development marketing team about 2 months ago and I'm pretty excited to say the least! Miracon is an award winning home builder serving the Greater Vancouver area. They focus on civil design, land development, and commercial/residential construction.

Habits and routine are a huge part of productivity. Once you make a habit out of doing your regular chores, you’ll find they become easier to do. But how exactly do you turn a chore into a habit? The Don’t Break the Chain method of productivity is based on a piece of advice given by the one and only Jerry Seinfeld Seinfeld recommends getting a big wall calendar and a red marker pen... He said for each day that I do my task of writing, I get to put a big red X over that day. ‘After a few days you’ll have a chain. Just keep at it and the chain will grow longer every day. You’ll like seeing that chain, especially when you get a few weeks under your belt. Your only job next is to not break the chain.’ To follow this workplace hack, simply follow Seinfeld’s advice. Of course, the Don’t Break the Chain method isn’t limited to writing. It could be any task you need to complete on a daily basis or something even more vague, like completing a task on your to do list.

Bad week last week? Here's a tip that can help improve THIS week: Take a break every 90 minutes. Efficiency drops by 30% every 90 minutes or so when we don't take a break.
