LIVE June 21st at 2pm!!! Rainhouse Canada Presents The Third Annual Engineering Competition. Set Reminder to get notified when we GO LIVE! Local engineering and STEM student groups are invited to enter this friendly competition to showcase their innovations. ... The past two years proved to be an overwhelmingly successful event, involving industry members as spectators and judges. This year Rainhouse Canada formed a partnership with the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Victoria to co-host this event. The general public will be invited to view these talented students’ innovations. A variety of clubs from the University of Victoria including the UVic Leadership through Diversity in Engineering (LTD), UVic Women in Science and local high schools will be competing for a People’s Choice Award. The event will result in increased awareness of engineering and STEM & STEAM opportunities available in Victoria by creating networking opportunities for students, industry and the general public. EVENT TIMELINE: 2:00 PM Opening Ceremony with welcome and Keynote Speaker 2:20 - 5:00 PM Viewing and peoples’ choice voting with 2-4 more speakers 5:00 PM Ballot counted 5:15 PM Awards and Presentations 6:00 PM End of Event
