To all my soap making friends. I entered the October soap making challenge @soapchallengeclub. The technique this month was the Ghost Swirl created by @auniteclaras which I found intriguing. The technique looks like colour was added but the contras is created by manipulating the water and lye amounts in cold process soap making. I used two solutions for the water phase - 30% high water and 45% low water. I soaped at 32 degrees Celsius and used the hanger swirl to create t...he design before oven processing. The soap is unscented with no colorants added. Thanks for the challenge @soapchallengeclub and also @kapiamerasoaps for sharing her version of the ghost swirl. I learnt so much from this technique. I named the soap Linen as it reminds me of the natural folds linen would make.
