I’ve received many questions and comments about the FSCD review and survey being conducted by Community and Social Services. The Provincial Parent Advisory Coun...cil (PPAC) was consulted and provided input on the FSCD survey to make it relevant to the families we serve. Almost 14,000 families were notified about their opportunity to provide input through the survey. As part of our review we have consulted with advocacy groups representing families all over the province. The PPAC also told us the roundtables meetings with parents and stakeholders should reflect communities across Alberta. 300 families were chosen using a fair process of selection based on geographical representation and diversity of attributes to capture a wide cross section of client families.
