A Few Spots Remain in Winter Indoor Development Programs There are still some spots available in a few programs for our second winter session of indoor soccer development. Programs with spots available include: U9 girls (born 2012, 2013) - Tuesdays @ 4:30 pm... U9 boys (born 2012, 2013) - Tuesdays @ 5:35 pm U11 boys (born 2010, 2011) - Tuesdays @ 6:45 pm U13/15 boys (born 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) - Sundays @ 5:20 pm Programs begin the week of February 15th and run once a week for 6 weeks at the APM Centre gymnasium. Winter Indoor Development Programs Begin in January: The Eliot River Ramblers Soccer Club will be offering indoor soccer programming throughout the winter. Development programs will be offered for children and youth grades K to 9 as well as pick-up soccer for adult players. The 6-week programs will take place at the APM Centre gymnasium in Cornwall. The curriculum for the development programs will focus around three components: physical literacy, individual soccer skills and ...game awareness. With the move to an indoor space and the need to comply with strict Covid-19 standards for recreational facilities, the number of spaces in each program will be limited to ten players and there will be no spectators allowed (with the exception of the program for 5- and 6-year-olds). The programs will be coached by Joel MacDonald, the Club’s technical director as well as club coach, Bryce Stone. Both coaches bring plenty of experience to the programs including time spent working for soccer in Ontario (Bryce in London and Joel in Ottawa and Toronto). Programming begins January 5th. It is with deep sadness that we must inform you all of the passing of Ryan Mullally, husband to our Executive Coordinator, Allana. The news of this tragic and unexpected event has left us all in shock.
