The lasting thing you want to be wasting your time on is trial and error if a diet. Here’s what you may have experience or heard about going on a low carb diet:... A Low carbohydrate diet works for weight loss - TRUE Low carbohydrate diets give you energy and no more afternoon crashes. TRUE - going low carb helps you balance your blood sugar levels. Going low carb works and you will see results! BUT is it sustainable long term? NO A low carb diet works short term and can be extremely beneficial to kick start your health, but it can be detrimental to your LONG TERM health. Want healthy hormones that give you energy and libido? Then you may want to rethink about cutting out those delicious root vegetables. Hi! I'm Rani, and I founded Burnout to Beaming Method. I know how it feels to feel stuck and alone with your health - I was a women struggling to pulling herself out of bed every morning, having afternoon crashes, and having no desire for sex with my partner. I was doing all the right things, eating healthy, exercising, and talking my supplements. Little did I know that my stressful environment and hormonal birth control were hijacking my life. How to keep your immune system strong over the holiday gatherings The last thing you need during Christmas is to get sick for the time you get off from work. As your working hard to get everything done this month for work and Christmas events, your health is slipping through the cracks here and there. If you’re looking to keep your energy and enthusiasm up there are three things you have got to keep up.... 1 Eat Whole Foods Nurturing foods are so important for every day function of the human body. Without good food supplements can’t do much and it will effect you immune system! 2 Sleep Oh yes sleep is definitely one of the most important things to keep your immune system up. While you sleep your body is at hard work detoxifying. That is why when you don’t get enough sleep your immunity is compromised, increasing the likelihood of illness and infection. Sleep also plays a role in metabolism! One night of missed sleep can create a prediabetic state in an otherwise healthy person. 3 Supplement daily with probiotics, vitamin D, and vitamin C These are my three favourite to have in the winter months to keep my immunity up. Stop comparing yourself to others Do you find yourself comparing yourself to your friends, coworkers, and family members? We all are guilty of this! You look over at: - your family member who eat junky food seems to have no health problems like you.... - your friend who only sleeps 5 hours at night has all the energy in world to get everything done, when you wish you could do. - your coworker is a smoker, yet has no problem getting pregnant for the THIRD time! YIKES, now you just feel jealous, angry, frustrated, and sadness. This is why comparing ourselves to others is one of the most dangerous things you can do for your health. All these negative thoughts and emotions lead to STRESS! And stress can lead to a whole bundle of problems, such as hormonal imbalances. And we don’t want that when we want energy, sex drive, and health. It is time to stop comparing yourself to them and instead look at how YOU are improving as a person everyday! It may be a difficult time for you, but think about what this process will teach you and how you will become a stonier individual at the end of it. A great way to get yourself in the right mindset is to use affirmations.
