TIME TO SAY GOODBYE Dear Each and All, It has been a while since I last sent a newsletter. This is the last one from Rani's Aromatherapy as I have decided to close down the business. All these years I have been very fortunate to have been doing what I love and I absolutely loved what I was doing. I enjoyed every single session of Aroma-massage, Aroma-facial, Aroma-blending, Reflexology, Reiki, or NES that I gave to clients. I learnt a lot in the process. I loved creating ski...ncare and cosmetics for each and all of you. I am sending my heartfelt thanks to you for supporting my business these many years. Note that my e-mail address will not be valid once I cancel the web-hosting for Rani's Aromatherapy. For those of you who want to keep in touch with me or contact me for any reason, my new e-mail address is as follows: [email protected] My phone number remains the same 647 714 4140. When clients came for an Aroma-massage, I didn't have a blend prepared ahead of time but we spent time creating a personalized massage blend each time. When I went to wellness events and offered mini reflexology or mini facial massage, with calves massage, there was no time to do the personalized blend. I used to make three different blends and get the receiver to choose one. So here I share with you the one that was a favourite. Aroma-Massage Blend Recipe: 50 ml of organic Jojoba oil Organic essential oils : Geranium-- 8 drops Lavender---8 drops Sandalwood-9 drops Mix in a dark bottle and keep out of the sun. I call it : The Balancing Blend. Enjoy! I wish you good health, happiness and Abundance. Love and Light. Rani

Lip Balm- Delightful Melissa Melissa which is known as Lemon balm is a delightful essential oil with a lemony aroma. It is a choice essential oil when you have cold sores. On another level, this essential oil is a good one when emotions get a bit on the extreme and needs balancing. Quoting Robbi Zeck, from her book The Blossoming Heart, Melissa ..." eases resentment, gladden th...e heart and engages the soul in its own graceful rhythm." Melissa is the oil that you can choose when you are feeling resentful as it can help bring a shift in the way you feel. That in turn may help change your perceptions. The essence of Mellisa is opening the heart to gratitude. You can add Melussa to your diffuser, a massage blend or add a couple of drops to your bath with other essential oils of your choice. Hand-crafted soap Rosemary- Spearmint I made this soap for a couple of clients and only a couple left in this batch until I make more. While Spearmint has such a delightful and uplifting aroma, Rosemaryattracts me not only with its delightful aroma but because it is an oil that is said to be good for the brain, that awakens the mind, that is good for memory.... Robbi Zeck, in " The Blossoming Heart" says that Rosemary frees one from restriction, sluggishness and mental fatigue. When reading her message on Rosemary I look at this essential oil in a different way and see it as an ally that can be helpful to move one from the polarities of being stuck to being creative . I like Robbi Zeck's affirmation : " I am the very essence of creation". It reminds me of that we all carry The Creator's spark of creativity. Create your own affirmation that reminds you that you are full of creativity. And then get ready to create! There are many possibilities and it can be simply creating a new habit, creating a new environment...what are you inspired to create? See more

Making lip balms is very easy. I made these yummy lip balms you see in the photos with organic oil, cocoa butter, beeswax vitamin E and essential oils. Here is a recipe for those who would like to make some. This recipe is better for small lip balm pots or jars. Lip balms are usually made with a mixture of oils, waxes, and butters. A lip balm creates a protective film on the lips and helps to keep moisturized and soft.... Essential oil/s: If an essential oil is too strong-for example Peppermint, add 10-15 drops. If using citrus oils such as Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, add 20 to 30 drops. ----------------------------------------------------- Instructions Weigh beeswax, cocoa butter, and Jojoba oil to the exact amount needed. Add to pot and melt gently. (Remember to keep the heat on low so that the oil, butter, and wax don’t overheat.) Remove from heat. Add vitaminE , and essential oil/s. Pour into jars/ lipbalm pots and allow to cool. Note : You can use a double boiler or the bain-marie method to melt your oil, butter and wax. For the bain-marie method, use a saucepan with a some water and a heat resistant glass beaker or glass measuring cup. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Recipe: Grapefruit Beeswax ------------------------------------ 12g Jojoba Oil ----------------------------------- 60g Shea butter---------------------------------- 25g Vitamin E------------------------------------ 10 drops Essential oil of Grapefruit------------ 30 to 45 drops You can use other essential oils such as Lime, Lemon, Mandarin, Orange, Bergamot. I am not having my annual tea-time this holiday season. Instead of baking I decided to create these cupcake soaps. Made with organic oils and essential oil of spearmint, they are very " yummy " looking soaps. They were so much fun to make. I played around with the piping and the decorating. They certainly put me in a creative mode and as they sit in the tray getting " cured" , they get me in the festive mood. I am getting excited about wrapping up them for Christmas gifts. Happy Sunday!

Sunday Relaxing Aroma-Bath I am turning my bathroom into a luxurious spa today. Bath tub filled with hot water with some rose petals, a little Hi.alayan salt, essential oils of Lavender, Patchouli and Rose. Purple scent-free beeswax candle li. Gentle music. Now it is ready for stepping in and enjoying a relaxing aroma bath. Anyone else wants to try it? Note: You can substitute rose with other flowers like lavender, jasmine, calendula. It is just to add colour and make it loo...k inviting and special. Lavender flowers will have an aroma even if they are dry- just putingt them between your hands and rubbing your hands together will bring out the aroma. Use essential oils of your choice. Another favourite blend of mine is Lavender, Geranium and Sandalwood. See more
