Hot today! Again, thanks for wearing a face covering and helping to curb the spread of the novel cornonavirus. Note our store hours for the upcoming Civic Holiday weekend - we are closing Friday and Monday. So, if you will need something for the weekend, get in early. Without regular communtiy day activities and the Family Ball Tournament, it will seem different, but hopefully eveyone can find a way to enjoy the time off.

Thanks, everyone, for your support over the past couple of weeks, as we've opened up again. We are wearing masks at the counter and appreciate customers wearing theirs, if they can. We are closing Wednesday, July 1, Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3, for an extended Canada Day holiday. Be sure to plan ahead if you need anything that you might have come in for on one of those days. Thanks, so much.

We're open now to walk-in customers, with a bit of a new look at the front. We still encourage calling ahead. We cannot always make hydraulic hoses while you wait, so if you're coming from a distance, call ahead for arrangements. Part of our opening plan is to try to limit contact and potential exposure, so we have a plexi-glass screen and we wear masks. We encourage customers, too, as well. If you have a long list, you can call it in (705-842-2131) or email ([email protected]) and we'll get it ready in advance. We are still short-staffed so it just takes a little longer.

We are still closed to walk-ins and offering our modified curb service. Currently, we are working on some modifications to the retail area, to comply with Algoma Public Health requirements for opening. This is taking some time, as we are so busy in the store during the day and working ovetime to follow up on orders, etc. evenings and weekends. If possible, when you call, try to have part numbers or the complete description of your vehicle. It will save eveyone time in the end. We have lots of batteries in stock, most are filled and charged and ready to go. Some ATV style batteries need some lead time, because they have to be filled and charged. Have a great weekend.

Rankin Supply and The Sentinel conintue to remain closed to the public, but open to process orders, as in our last post. RANKIN SUPPLY remains closed to the public, however, is offering service to those who call by telephone and email. We will take your order and reply with a time when it can be paid by VISA or MasterCard and left outside for pick-up. THE SENTINEL is also closed to walk-in clients, however, is available by telephone and email. We are not sure how long we will be able to remain publishing. We have expereienced a sharp decline in advertising, which drives the feasibility of putting out a paper each week. Rankin Supply remained open this week and is open today Friday, March 20; however, we will be CLOSING at the end of today and will not reopen to the public until March 31, tentatively, dependent on the COVID-19 environment at that time. We will re-assess the risk to the general public, our customers, and our staff at that time. The North Shore Sentinel will remain operating, but our office will continue to be closed to the public until further notice. We will publish an issue... on March 25, and we hope to be able to continue to publish throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, however, advertising and editorial circumstances, and printer availability beyond our control may cause an interruption in publishing. Both Rankin Supply and The Sentinel appreicate your understanding and support. We encourage everyone to follow public health protocols and hope you all stay safe and healthy.

Rankin Supply is still open, however, currently with reduced staffing. While we continue to remain open to meet customer needs, if you are concerned about visiting the store to maintain "social distancing", you can telephone us at 705-842-2131 and we can apply your charge to a credit card and leave it outside for pick-up. If you are visiting the store, we remind everyone to respect distance from staff and to avoid touching surfaces, etc. And, please do not visit if you are ex...periencing symptoms The Sentinel office is not open to customers in person. We are currently open for business, but ask patrons to refrain from coming in if they're experiencing any flu like symptoms, dry cough, shortness of breath. It should also be noted, that we will only be accepting debit/credit as methods of payment, to limit contact with our customers.

If anyone has lost a hub cap, we have it here at the store.
