And another birthday girl who is also named MacKayla (different spelling) is having a special weekend, I made a green and blue themed rose bouquet cake, with matching cupcakes, oh so pretty :D (flash vs no flash made the cake look different colours ... lol lesson learned )

A big happy birthday to MIKAYLA !! This is a beautiful Elsa cake, with a frilly buttercream finish :D I made some homemade candy to be like a pink ice castle background. I loved making this cake!!

Today's memorial to celebrate my wonderful mother's life, I had to do two cakes,(completely by choice) one that is an "open book" with some of her wonderful pictures (all edible) that all have memories attached, and the other was my mothers "dream cake", I don't have much to say about these cakes,they are not perfect, or magazine ready, but they're what she would have wanted most... I do know that she was with all of us today and knows she will be missed greatly <3 R.I.P. To ...the most loving, caring, empathetic woman I have ever known, and to everyone, anyone reading this, please give your mother a big hug, sometimes life ends suddenly and I am at least left with the memory of my last visit with my mother and the gigantic hug she gave me ...and I will always be happy knowing that in our silly moment that day I am left with a wonderful memory I can hold on to <3 I don't know why we had a larger then usual hug that day that lasted awkwardly long ...lol but I am soooooo incredibly grateful <3 See more

It's a Girl! This is my only order for other's that I am doing this weekend, and loved it !!! This is a vanilla, buttercream filled fondant cake for a wonderful woman who is expecting ... a baby girl <3 I will be getting back on track as of Monday and am thankful for having such amazing and patient people on this page... truly you are all amazing !!! Now onto my mothers memorial cake's and I know she will be with me every step of the way ohh'ing and ahhh'ing like she always did <3
