What if is something that I’ve always asked myself and most of the time those what ifs where from a place of fear... and doubt... -What if I’m not enough -What if I fail -What if it doesn’t work out -What if I can’t change -What if if I don’t see the results -What if I’m only able to do what I’m doing now But... What if I changed the way I viewed those what ifs... Now! -What if I am enough! -What if I decide to believe in myself! -What if I can impact the lives of others! -What if my dreams can change the world! -What if I stopped holding back! -What if the feeling fear is only an opportunity to grow! -What if I lived like I can accomplish anything! -What if I just start! -What if I can do and have all that I dream of! Practicing self-love and self-care is so important when navigating your grief in stressful times. Physical isolation compounds the emotional isolation we are a...lready living with... I like to find a few minutes at the end of the day to prepare to unwind and get ready to try to get the sleep my physical body needs to stay healthy. Try a simple guided meditation on you bed ( I like to do mine in a soothing, warm bath ). When I’ve struggled to regulate my emotions during the day, I remind myself that nothing gets solved at night. I put a mental pin in stressors, and use positive visualization to help relax, and eventually drift to sleep. Sleep has been one of the top issues I have struggled with, and when times are hard, I have to reset my compass, and remember to change the cycle of negativity... Healing to The Max is a beautiful therapeutic program designed by fellow survivors ( like myself ) and a group of professionals. We are physically distancing, but we are emotionally available !
