Lots has happened since our last post on the Killarney project, here's what we accomplished in the last 10 days... -ground work for rough in plumbing -framing the new structural support for the new floating stairs and other framing items in the freezing cold -pouring new concrete to fill in the ground work after our plumbing inspector gave us the ... -roof was shingled, thankfully!! -spray foam on exterior walls in the new mechanical room, ready for painted plywood and checker plate -Lux windows are all in -plumbing and Hvac rough-in underway I have the best trades. I know every builder will say that, but my guys tolerate my OCD when it comes to clean work, keeping a clean site, being polite, kind, and just overall good people... It's pretty dam cold out...and construction and cold weather don't really get along ...but on Saturday when it was. -29 with a windchill making it feel like -40, my framing crew were still at it, which means I'm still at it.. Continued progress at this big reno!! The crane did all the heavy lifting and in a few hours all our trusses were that much closer to being installed!! Framers working hard but they'll also take a second for a photo op... Hard to believe it was +9 with blue skies not that long ago....
