Boogie the Bridge 2022 was epic! RDC had a great turnout to drum and cheer and the Kamloops Boogie team had a great show of participants. It was a wonderful day. I'm full of gratitude for seeing my awesome djembe drummers again. We had the Djembe Django Kamloops group and 2 Merritt drummers join the drum band sound. It was awesome having Jean and Una play those warm tones on the duns, and flute player Sue Northcott adding the soft balance of the beautiful Indigenous flute at break times. Hiy hiy. An extra treat was then having a lunch opportunity and catch up with these drum buddies. Whoo hoo. We are looking forward to drumming for more community gigs. Boogie the Bridge - April 24th 2022 - in Kamloops BC. Raven Drum Connection had a great turn out with 14 drummers sharing beats for participants to boogie to. Whoo hoo. Awesome cheering drummers! A big thank you to the Boogie team for sponsoring this great and we'll organized event and helping charities in need.
