This is so true. I have experienced both sides of this. I have learned to if I have a reaction to what's being said then I need to go figure it out. Not blame, or get mad at the other person. There is a lot of freedom in this once you get over the fear of that your letting people get away with something, or fear of being a doormat. I was sick of being a puppet of others emotions and what they said, so as scary as it was I accepted my reactions and dealt with them first. Then sometime I world share, or discuss what happened without being clouded by my feelings. Be warned this is addictive once you feel your power coming back.
