Please meet our GP - Dr. Wray! Dr. Wray worked at various careers before becoming a physician. After grade 12 he worked for three years as a deckhand on tugboats, followed by employments in various other positions. He received his BSc., and MD degrees in 1976 and 1979 respectively. He had his own family practice in Saanichton, BC for 35 years. He worked out of Saanich Peninsula Hospital where he delivered babies and worked as an emergency doctor. He was also president of the ...medical staff for the last five years of his career there. From 2003 to 2008 he was employed by Island Health as director of family practice and chronic disease. When he is not working he enjoys art, skiing, golf and family gatherings. Alexis Winter is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a Master's degree in psychiatric nursing with experience working in hospital, tertiary care and community outreach settings in and around Victoria, BC.
