Life at the bar and grill is complicated these days. I might add a bit lonely too. We miss our music, we miss firing up the big bbq. We are dedicated to the health and safety of all those we love. We are still hoping to open this summer. With music and the sharing of great meals our mainstay, it is still not possible. The Creekside lounge is open, weather permitting, most sunny days at 4. No one would complain about a guitar.....

As Canada gets ready to re-open I sincerely hope people will consider this..... I’ve been seeing a lot of ads and memes and GIFs online about supporting local... businesses! This is wonderful! I commend anyone who is following along in support of our restaurant industry HOWEVER, There has been a lot of pushback considering franchises and chain restaurants and pubs Yes, franchises and chains are mostly larger corporations who indeed have the ability to last throughout this uneasy time regardless of the financial burden. But the fact is MOST of these franchises and chains are owned by LOCALS!!!! Just because our Head Offices are bending over backward and spending money to supports us does not mean we do not deserve the same support from our locals and regulars!! If these franchises and chains do infact close due to loss of income and support, the franchise will live on, the chains will open up other stores in different locations and will more than likely thrive. The LOCALS WHO OWN THESE FRANCHISES AND CHAIN REATAURANTS WILL NOT RECOVER!!!! Please I beg you, if you are a supporter of LOCAL, if you are a supporter of the RESTAURANT INDUSTRY, support ALL of us! Our staff deserves to come back to a job where they will be able to work and pay for the life they live!! Our guests and patrons deserve to come back to their local pub/restaurant and enjoy themselves!!! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RESTAURANTS!!!! Regardless of the name on the door, the man standing behind it is your neighbour!
