Another summer has come and gone...........way too fast. RCATV Trails are now closed until the spring but you can check QuadOn for winter trails just in case your bike needs a stretch during the cold months. It is time for the sleds to come out........ While we understand those trails on Crown Land you can still use we ask you to respect the snowmobile trails that they work hard to maintain.

To the members of RCATV and riders within Renfrew County. Our President Teresa Hebb and exec are preparing points of consideration and background to provide to Renfrew County Warden and CAO so they are informed leading up to this important meeting. OFATV and RCATV are committed to finding opportunities for connected trails in Ontario and finding the right and sustainable solution for not only trail funding, but also for the safety and experience for all riders. It is a strange year. If you are riding in your area this winter, please abide by Ontario guidelines and orders. Here in Renfrew County, our trails are closed to make way for our snowmobile partners. Stay safe and see you all in the spring.

We couldn’t say enough about the partnership that the team at Huckabone's Equipment continue to provide to RCATV. This year our trail volunteers were spoiled with this Kubota SideKick 850 which had the exact accessories that we needed to support the trails. As we wind down our season we would like to thank all our members and partners for a successful season. Hi riders! Rough Terrain HAZARD! B Trail between the 59 and Madawaska where the grader was trying to get through a swampy area of the old railbed. Keep your eyes out for volunteers. We are getting ready to transition trails from ATV to snowmobile and so work teams from both sides may be on the trails to finish projects or get ready for the colder weather. We greatly appreciate the partnership between RCATV and the Snow Country Snowmobile Region - OFSC District 6 Stephen Hebb for the win getting it out of the swamp unscathed.

RCATV wishes to take a moment to thank and remember those who have served and continue to serve. We know it is a beautiful warm fall day, thank you for respecting their service and taking a moment to reflect and remember.

On behalf of Sharon Mcleod the new Director for the Pakkotinna Trail System in Golden Lake thanks everyone for coming out to support with signs and doing a trail orientation. Too bad we didn’t get pictures of the winching, broken boot and punctured tire rim. Oh and some signing lol.

UPDATE: OPP East Region @OPP_ER 2h Missing 16 yr old from #Tweed has tragically died from injuries suffered in ATV collision. Civilians joined #OPP in search. Civilians located the victim @ 2:30am along old rail bed. Later pronounced deceased @ hospital. Thanks to all who assisted. @OPP_COMM_ER ^bd... Please do not ride alone, take a friend. Or if you have to ride alone make sure someone knows what route you are taking.
