Due to the current Covid 19 crisis, physical access to the RCHS archives is not possible for the foreseeable future. We ask that should you have inquiries that may be able to managed without this physical access, please address these to our email address and our archivist will be happy to assist you. Our museum operates on a seasonal basis and we hope to be living in better circumstances by the projected date of its opening in May. We will do our best to update information regarding any other RCHS activities via this website and our Facebook page. Thank you for your understanding and we wish everyone the best of health.

Due to the Covid-19 virus prevention methods being put in place by the Quebec government, the Kyra Shaughnessey event is CANCELLED. It is unfortunate but we are all better safe than sorry. Practice proper hand washing hygiene and take care of each other!

As part of the Richmond Irish Heritage Festival, Richmond County Historical Society will present Songs of the Irish Otherworld by Kyra Shaughnessy, singer, songwriter, and poet. This event will take place at 7 PM on Friday, March 13th at Le Réfectoire (Centre d’art), 140 rue du Couvent, Richmond. Cost is $15. The Richmond Irish Heritage Festival is sponsored by Government of Canada and local sponsors.
