Good morning, Peachland. It is with a heavy heart that we have to let you know that we cannot hold a Remembrance Day Service due to COVID-19. However, that does not mean that Remembrance Day is cancelled. It is up to us to remember even if we can't be together. Poppies are available at various locations in Peachland. Make a donation and wear a poppy. At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, if you are able, stop what you are doing and join all of us in a 2 Minute Silence to honour those that gave of their lives, the supreme sacrifice so that we can share the freedom and opportunities we have today. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM!
