**NO RACING THIS WEEKEND** Once again, this weekend’s event have been postponed until NEXT WEEKEND, (Friday, November 5th will be Championship night, Saturday November 6th will be a regular show). Thank you for the cooperation with the changes in the schedule.

**Halloween Weekend Added Date** Merlin, ONT (October 17th, 2021) To go along with our Championship Night for the Championship Series we have decided ...to add a complete program of racing for Saturday, October 30th! Saturday’s events will be ran during the afternoon with gates opening at 12:00PM, and practice beginning at 2:00PM. All classes with be running for the standard 80% payout with an added $100 to the largest Sr. and Jr. class. This event is strictly for fun, there will be no points for this event, if weather does not permit we will not reschedule this event. Friday, will still be the final points race as scheduled. Attention Kart Families! In accordance with the Provincial Guidelines that have been released, Brighton Speedway is gearing up to Get Back to the Track. The ne...west phase is set to begin the week of June 14th based on the current trends in key health indicators. If this remains accurate the Karting Schedule will begin with Practice on Thursday, June 17th and Points Racing will start on June 24th. The posted schedule will be in effect from that date forward with Thursday, July 1st off for the holiday but racing resuming on the 8th. This plan is in anticipation of the gradual reopening that the province has presented and will be subject to limitations and change. We hope to proceed with Kart Racing in the same fashion as the 2020 season with 5 people per kart, mandatory masks and pre-registration for each weekly event. Stay tuned for more information to come on those procedures. The information the province is projecting leads us to believe that we will be able to host at least a 10-race season with points. If you are interested or know anyone who may be interested in sponsoring a Kart Night for $250.00, we are looking for additional support. A Kart night sponsor would receive logo placement on our website, Facebook mentions in all promotional material leading up to their scheduled event.
