Do you know Taylor?!? For all of the R Cottage regulars you have probably crossed paths with Taylor, but for those who haven't had the honour of meeting her we thought we would let Chef Ian tell you a little about the person who has been cooking up a storm in the R Cottage kitchen: Taylor is a compassionate person that wears her heart on her sleeve. I have had the utmost pleasure to work alongside of her for over 5yrs now and can honestly say it has been amazing to be a part... of her growth. Not only as a human but as a chef. It is her compassion that gives her an advantage on many I have trained in the past. Simply put she cares. She cares about her co-workers, the customers, the restaurant and of course the food. She respects the methodology of low and slow cooking by treating all ingredients with care and passion. I know without a doubt in my gut that Taylor has the "knives in her kit" to continue to maintain and grow into the natural born leader she has set out to be. To say I am proud of Taylor carrying on the R Cottage legacy would be a huge understatement. Cheers Chef Ian See more

Our first official post as new owners We are so excited to start this journey with all of you and can't wait to continue serving delicious food that you have come to know and love!!! We wanted to touch on some of the questions we have received lately. "Will the menu change?" NOOO!!! The menu is staying the same!! Why fix something that is not broken?! We will continue to offer take-out porch pick ups, for now we will continue to offer a smaller covid friendly menu and hope ...to expand to our full menu in the future. Our hours of operation continue to be Thursday, Friday, Saturday 3-7 pm.
