Meet some of the individuals at RCSCC Harwood!! - #HumansofHarwood - This is Chief Petty Officer Second Class Comeau! CPO2 Comeau has been a cadet at Harwood for five years. During her time at Harwood, Chief Comeau has been a committed member of the drill, marksmanship, and summer/winter biathlon teams. She has also gone to provincials two years in a row for her exceptional winter biathlon skills. Throughout her years at Harwood, Comeau has acquired multiple leadership positi...ons such as 2IC, Guard Commander, and Gunnery Instructor. During her summers as a cadet, Chief Comeau has gone to HMCS Ontario for the following summer courses, GT, DnC, DCI, and attained a staff position last year and this year. CPO2 Comeau has had the great opportunity to travel to many different places across Canada as a cadet. She has travelled to PEI as a national biathlon staff cadet, attended a trip to Halifax with Harwood, and flew British Columbia to be on-board an ORCA! As her time in the cadet program sadly comes to an end, Chief Comeau will start her post secondary education at Durham College for Protection, Security, and Investigation as she aspires to later have an occupation in law and security. Overall, CPO2 Comeau has been a positive, hardworking, and an inspiring cadet at RCSCC Harwood! See more

Meet some of the individuals at RCSCC Harwood! #HumansofHarwood This is NCdt Munarriz! Naval Cadet Munarriz is currently the DivO of Cumberland and is the coach of both the Drill teams at RCSCC Harwood. NCdt Munarriz was a former cadet at RCSCC Harwood and served as the Corps Coxswain for two years prior to moving away for his undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa. Following the completion of his degree, NCdt Munarriz decided that he wanted to re-engage with the pr...ogram as a staff member at RCSCC Harwood to give back to the program that has offered him so many incredible opportunities. NCdt Munarriz has since assisted at the Corps level and at the Cadet Training Centre summer camp programs in the Seamanship department. With the experience he gained in the Seamanship department at HMCS ONTARIO, he developed an appreciation for the importance of cadet participation and engagement across all cadet activities, from Wednesday training nights to extra-curricular teams and works tirelessly to encourage it. Currently, NCdt Munarriz is a student at Ontario Tech University enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program, with the goal of becoming a future classroom teacher. He says that his experience as a leader in the cadet program inspired him to carry out a profession where the skills he learned can be utilized in a full time career. Therefore, NCdt Munarriz is a dedicated member of the staff who brings a positive attitude, knowledge and experience to the Harwood cadets both junior and senior. See more
