Good Evening Cadets and Parents As most of you have already heard, Covid Restrictions are keeping Cadets from attending any Remembrance Day Ceremonies in their uniforms .But they may attend as Civilians. Remembrance Day is a very important day for the CAF, as these men and women fought for our freedom. So take a moment to observe what they sacrificed for us. But please remember NO Uniforms. I am hoping to resume training on on Nov 18/20, but am going to try to get the... Personal Protective Equipment that has been issued to the Corp handed out to the Cadets as quickly as possible. If not please wear a mask to attend, as masks will be a requirement and all other Covid Protocol will be in place. So our first night back will be Civilian Clothing. Also I would like for Cadets to go to this link portal-portail.cadets.gc.ca and do their Covid training before they return. In order to do this they have to create a account and follow the instructions. If there are any changes to this I will post on the Facebook page and the Parents page as well. Any questions or concerns you may contact Lt(N) Sheila Amirault (902)740-1258 See more

A special morale patch has been created to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic. The first morale patches have been delivered and they will b...e worn by sailors, soldiers, and aviators under RCN command and those in a Navy uniform outside Navy Lines. These patches help us commemorate the heroics, service and sacrifice that serve as the foundation for our proud fighting service. #BOA75 #CanadaRemembers See more

Happy Easter to all the staff and cadets at 327 Unicorn stay safe!

Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps 327 Unicorn 15.07.2020

The decades since the Battle of Vimy Ridge have slipped by, but the legacy of the Canadians who accomplished so much in that important First World War battle lives on. Some say that Canada came of age as a country on those harsh April days in 1917. Cadets have always played an important role in remembering this battle at cenotaphs across Canada, and at Vimy Ridge. In these unprecedented times we invite all cadets, their families, staff, and volunteers to take part in a virtua...l moment of remembrance as part of our collective efforts to stay at home "together". To participate in this important act of remembrance we ask that at 2000hrs, 9 April 2020, in your local time zone you: Wear your ceremonial dress uniform (C1 for Cadets and 1A for staff) at home Light a candle or use a virtual candle Wear a poppy if you have one Observe two minutes of silence Take a selfie or image and tag @CadetsCa (ou @CadetsCan en francais) on either Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #RememberVimy Although we are apart, we can come together and show our respect for this important battle that helped to shape our nation.
