In an effort to improve account security we will be resetting all student passwords in the next few weeks. All staff will be notified of the new standard as well as the date this will take place.
Happy 35th birthday to Windows! On Nov 20, 1985, the first version of Windows (Windows 1.0) was released to the public. It came on two floppy disks, took up 256kb of memory, and was able to run one program at a time (unless you upgraded to a computer with 512kb of memory!)
Reminder! Our services are still modified for safety! We are relying on remote support when possible and our technicians will never be in a classroom at the same time as students. If we need to service a device physically we will request it be left in the office for pickup.
Christmas has arrived in the IT department!
We welcome Jill Hrynkiw to the Technology Team! Jill is our newest Software Support Specialist and will be filling in for Irene while she is away!
We said goodbye (for now) to Irene at the end of October when she went on maternity leave! She and her husband Royce welcomed baby Remington to the family on Halloween .
