The grade 2B class has an opportunity to learn all about coding while we borrow these mouse robots for two weeks. Coding builds skills such as problem solving, persistence, computation, and executive function. Excitement is building as the students are becoming more confident using the mice and they’re even planning their own activities like dances, mazes, and spelling challenges! #saskcode

Today our school staff and students wore orange shirts in remembrance for the victims of the Canadian Indian residential school system. Every child matters. Construction of a new cross for our building is underway! Thanks to Mike Lapierre for all of his work on this project. Mike and Aaron Tyler will be mounting the cross in the coming weeks. Next steps are sandblasting and painting. The original cross had deteriorated over the years and was a safety concern, so we are thankful to have had Mike step up to make us a new one!
Meet some of our sweet Grade 3’s! It’s amazing to think about how unique and special God has made each one of us ! Psalm 139:13-14 You alone created my inner being. You knitted me together inside my mother. I will give thanks to you because I have been so amazingly and miraculously made. Your works are miraculous, and my soul is fully aware of this.
Today Mrs. Taylor’s Grade 2A class celebrated how SUPER they are with a Super Hero Day!! They had great fun dressing up and making their own comic strips.
What a beautiful morning for Prayer at the Pole! We have much to pray about in our world these days... it is always so awesome to see our students come together and petition the God we love and serve. Micah 7:7-8, ESV But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.

Watermelon drop! Mr. Reed’s Physics 30 class determined the height of one of the windows on the fourth floor of our building by using the acceleration due to gravity. They calculated that the melon was going 15 m/s at the bottom and the height of the window was 11 m.... FYI.
