Update: First week of classes for Winter 2021 Term As RDC continues to plan, reviewing RDC's situation and witnessing an increasing number of COVID-19 cases across Alberta, RDC has identified that the first week of Winter 2021 Term (January 4 to 8, 2021) will be conducted fully online for all courses, labs and seminars. This was not an easy decision, but we feel it is in the best interests of keeping our students, faculty and staff as healthy and safe as possible during th...is difficult time. We recognize that even as we work to manage and limit our interactions, our students will likely travel to be home with loved ones during the holidays, and employees will likely connect with extended family members. For this reason, we believe that starting our Winter Term fully online for one week (January 4 to 8, 2021) will assist in reducing the potential spread of COVID-19 among our College community. We know that in the next few months, and especially the holiday season, it will be different from past years. We strongly encourage everyone to follow Alberta Health Services guidelines, including limiting the number of people at house gatherings, to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to inform the College community of additional plans for Winter Term as decisions are made during the coming weeks. We will also continue to monitor the situation at RDC and across Alberta, to adapt operations, as needed, while always following current government and health directives in our protocols and decision-making.
