Doula Highlight: Laura Gauthier - Baby Mine Birth Services - Laura Gauthier My name is Laura Gauthier and I’m delighted that you are looking into doula support for your birth! As your doula, I will provide you with information and experience so that you can make informed decisions for you and your baby. Whatever choices you make, I am always there to support you through them. Prenatally, I can provide insight and encouragement to help alleviate any fears you have about your ...labour and birth. I provide prenatal visits, continuous physical and emotional support during labour, birth and the first hours after your baby is born, as well as postpartum visits. I am the mother of three girls and one boy, my first born in hospital, the others born at home. I have attended a many different types of births, including VBAC, Hypnobabies, first time moms, 2nd, 3rd, and beyond. I attend both hospital births and home births. It is my passion to help parents achieve the birth that they deserve. I will support you in any informed decision you make, and help you achieve your goals. Doula Highlight: Catherine Wilson, Catherine Wilson Doula Services "Welcome and congratulations on your pregnancy! I am married with two young boys and an elderly pug. I have lived in Red Deer most of my life and I love this city. I have had the honour of serving families in this area through both hospital and home births, with doctors and midwives.... My path as a birth doula began in 2010 after my first son was born. It was a difficult personal journey for me. Having an amazing doula support me through my second pregnancy and birth, literally changed my life. Through her guidance and support, and the training I have received since, I have found my passion. I was blessed to stay at home with my boys since they were born and was able to complete my doula training in the spring of 2015. I have attended DONA training, Breastfeeding For Doulas, and attended a Birthing From Within Workshop. It is such a privilege to be asked to be a part of an experience as personal and powerful as birth.
