What is apparently quite a regular outting this Pitt Bull was once again enjoying a romp in and about Latkin Road just off the West end of Carson. He is none too excited about his accommodations at the pound. It's been a busy day around here and he'd like to check out. As per normal no tag or ID Could the owner please call 250 443-1851 and arrange to come and bail him out?

Straight from the Pyrenees Mountains of France & Spain sans collar or tags this majestic fellow was found wandering the Grand Forks Valley. Since the Animal Control guy speaks neither French nor Spanish he needs a little help getting this majestic fellow home. Currently the sheep at the pound are safe from bears and wolves but I think I heard him say: "Emmene-moi a la maison Sur les routes de campagne" Call Kootenay Boundary Animal Control 250 443-1851

Update: Bonnie is now home with her owner. Thank you. I was picked up on 68th street today, Sun Dec 13th,in behind Extra Foods by a very nice lady who was concerned I may get run over by some vehicles. I have my tag on that says my name is Bonnie but that really doesn’t help Animal Control figure out where I live. I now have to stay in the pound until my owner calls 250-443-1851 to make arrangements to bring me home. The sooner the better as far as I’m concerned.

Update: Diesel is now home with his owner. A very nice lady picked me up and took me home last night, Sat Aug 8. She has tried to locate my owner, however as hard as she tried, she hasn't been successful. So, with no other options, I was taken to the Animal Control pound where I will have to stay no longer than three days unless my owner comes to get me. What happens after three days, you ask? Well, I'll be shipped off to the SPCA in Castlegar. I'd rather just go home as soon as possible. You can call 250-443-1851 and arrangements can be made to pick me up. PLEASE.

Dog Missing at Christina Lake: Please help us find Spot. Spot is an 8-year-old purebred Chihuahua who escaped his collar and leash while en route to his forever home. He went missing earlier today from the large lookout along Hwy 3 on the East side Christina Lake right near the Welcome-To-Christina-Lake sign. He bolted across the Hwy, managed to scale a 5ft wall, and run up a very steep hill which is located directly across from the look out. If you see him please approach him with caution as he is terrified and will only run further away. You can contact the BC SPCA Nelson Branch at 250.352.7178 or his owner at 250.714.2317 with any information or PM us here. Thank you so much Thanks to everyone who assisted in getting Scot back from his little adventure. He is now back and safe.

This young lady was out for a stroll along the ditch on Carson Road. She was found by a very caring lady who has bathed her. fed her and nurtured her. The lady tells me this dog had on a Harley themed collar and no license or tag with which to identify her. If you are the owner or you know who the owner might be, please contact KBAC at 250 443-1851 to arrange to have this dog returned. The dog has a severe cough for which we will be taking her to a Vet to have it checked out.

"Well after a couple of days in the slammer, great hospitality and food, I finally got back home where I should be. I'm not too big on my little vacation and I'd rather hang out with my buddies back home." "So I told you to buy me that license!" This guy says he would have brought me right home if only he'd known where 'home' was." "But 'no' you said you'd rather save that $15.00." "Just remember I told you so" "In the mean time here I am down at the pound ... he had treats and a warm ride ... what did you expect? "Anyway give him a call at 250 443-1851 and arrange to come and bail me out ... and buy a license from him while you're at it!"

Well Pete and I tried making a break for the USA border down by the Laurier crossing. We dumped our collars and licences, we were going to sign up to be a part of Trump's guard duty but it was cold out, we were hungry, there was too much snow and this guy was offering free room and board. So here we sit wanting to go home but we can't remember the directions. Is there any chance our owner or someone who knows our owner, could call this nice lady and come and get us? Her phone numbers are: 250 447-6437 Home 250 584-4047 Cell Her name is Maurita.

Owner identified and dog has been taken home. Thanks to all who helped out. I was having a great time on such a warm and sunny day that I decided to go have some fun and a swim. Unfortunately I went to the public beach in Christina Lake only to find out nobody liked me there. As a result I'm now in the dog pound in Grand Forks and they don't have swimming pool here. So if you don't mind please come and get me out of this place. Here"s the number to call; 250-443-1851. The sooner the better.

Well, after running the public beach at Christina Lake and trespassing on every home in the neighbourhood; after treeing a couple of the local cats and intimidating several of the local children; we have checked into the Mutt Merriott in Grand Forks. We've ordered room service and have been provided fine dining and cool drinks Alas, however, we didn't bring our ID's or credit cards and we now want to go home. We suspect we may be in the dog house for the next while. Can you please come and get us?
