CONGRATULATIONS ALICIA Alicia sprung into action when her brother required stitches after cutting himself. She remained calm, cool and collected and bandaged his injury. This goes to show the importance of learning first aid! https://www.durhamregion.com//10207339-ajax-teen-springs-/

Although we weren’t able to make it the other day to see Ferris, we we’re able to go see him today. Ferris needed our help after he suffered a cardiac arrest. Our paramedics were there to help him in his time of need. We were happy that Chris, Kevin, Andrew and Mike were able to pay him a visit today. These are the stories we love to hear

53,000 hours in 2019 offload time...in Ottawa alone! This serious issue continues to be prevalent across Ontario. We call on the Provincial Government to address this alarming community safety issue by supporting both hospitals & paramedic services so that they can alleviate the stresses and demands within a growing population that contribute to offload delay. We’d like to thank our friends at @CUPE5734 Cornwall for demonstrating just how hot it gets under all the PPE Paramedics are required to wear on every call to protect themselves against COVID-19! Heat Exhaustion is a real concern for Paramedics and all employers/the government should implement policies protecting Paramedics from the risks associated from it! #sweatchallenge #summershirts #tshirtsonly #covid
