THANK YOU! THANK YOU! A big thank you goes out to Kelly, her daughter Reese and her friends Lily, Maddie and Farrah for bringing our Whitby Paramedics coffee and donuts after using money raised from their lemonade stand this summer!
Today, and everyday, we remember
CONGRATULATIONS ALICIA Alicia sprung into action when her brother required stitches after cutting himself. She remained calm, cool and collected and bandaged his injury. This goes to show the importance of learning first aid! https://www.durhamregion.com//10207339-ajax-teen-springs-/
Although we weren’t able to make it the other day to see Ferris, we we’re able to go see him today. Ferris needed our help after he suffered a cardiac arrest. Our paramedics were there to help him in his time of need. We were happy that Chris, Kevin, Andrew and Mike were able to pay him a visit today. These are the stories we love to hear
Thanks Colin Ryan for some great camera work!
Congratulations to Trevor Bain on his retirement after serving his community for 27 years!! We wish you the best of luck in your retirement #ivegotyourback911

Two of our many great paramedics are off to #Ottawa to assist @qch.ottawa with #covid19 swab testing! True professionals! Be safe!
53,000 hours in 2019 offload time...in Ottawa alone! This serious issue continues to be prevalent across Ontario. We call on the Provincial Government to address this alarming community safety issue by supporting both hospitals & paramedic services so that they can alleviate the stresses and demands within a growing population that contribute to offload delay. Today we remember those who lost their lives #NeverForget
Paramedics have one of the toughest jobs out there; especially during this pandemic.
A brief history of how Paramedics came to be in Ontario. Thank you Steve Rowland for sharing!
We’d like to thank our friends at @CUPE5734 Cornwall for demonstrating just how hot it gets under all the PPE Paramedics are required to wear on every call to protect themselves against COVID-19! Heat Exhaustion is a real concern for Paramedics and all employers/the government should implement policies protecting Paramedics from the risks associated from it! #sweatchallenge #summershirts #tshirtsonly #covid
Enjoy the Summer weather but please do so safely -Stay hydrated -Take frequent breaks from the sun -Learn the symptoms of heat-related illness... -Check on elderly neighbors and family members -Call 911 if you require medical assistance See more
