Retweet from @ericgon_ (Eric Gonzalez): My first short film comes out later this year! Here's the trailer for Source Waters: The Rivers That Shape Us! https://vimeo.com/487185114 Commissioned by @RDRWA, we follow the waters of the Red Deer River from its true headwaters in Banff National Park toward the Alberta-Saskatchewan border.... Filmed in 2020, the short documentary provides essential context for those wanting to learn more about the landscapes, communities, and waters of the Red Deer River watershed. We talk to scientists, elected officials, and agricultural producers about the big picture of the watershed. Travelling across this part of Alberta can feel like visiting different planets. From the braided waters near Sundre, to the starkly beautiful and dry badlands. From the suburbs of Red Deer (pop 103,000), to the dusty main street of Rowley (pop 8). Water connects us all.
