Case Competition Being an organization under the Ted Rogers School of Management, the focus of this case competition is to expose students to the field of data analytics in a way that is relevant to the industries they will enter after leaving their undergraduate degree. We will achieve this in two ways: 1. A hands-on problem-solving experience through a case that is relevant to an industry problem facing organizations today. ... a. This will have a pure analytical component (interpreting key metrics in the data through industry standard software programming, preferably Python), and a data visualization component (depicting key metrics in the data in a way that can be easily interpreted so that students can offer their opinions on a problem-solving recommendation). 2. A networking and industry exposure component comprised of a panel and 3. workshops run by prominent data analytics firms and industry professionals. See more
