I want to personally thank Mayor John Kennedy for his service over the last twelve years to the Town of Logy Bay - Middle Cove - Outer Cove. John recently announced that he will not be seeking re-election in September. Since I joined council in 2009, John has been a great mentor and friend, and an amazing Mayor. He has always been a level head around the table, and has an unparalleled passion for our community. I wish him the best of luck in his future plans/retirement. I a...lso want to wish Craig Dyer the best of luck in his campaign to replace the outgoing Mayor. I'm confident Craig will do a great job! In regard to my own campaign for re-election, It has been a great pleasure over the last three weeks knocking on doors and reconnecting with residents of the Town of Logy Bay - Middle Cove - Outer Cove. I've heard some new ideas and suggestions on how to make our community better, and ways to protect our rural lifestyle. This is very encouraging! I am extremely proud of my hometown, and I’m often told my passion for serving its residents is unparalleled. I feel I’ve represented our municipality well over the last eight years.
