Drop by the Milton Canoe and Camera Club today until 12pm to take in the photography exhibit. Amazing work and topics. I joined the canoe club thus summer for learning canoe techniques and having fun and exercise on and in the Mersey river. Today we take a group Paddle on the Mersey if Dave decides it's safe. Wind is up a bit.

Hey everyone, just a reminder that the next voting day is Tuesday, Oct 13th and one if the Advanced Polls is at the Liverpool Legion. I have had lots of great feedback on my large sign in the heart of District 2. The frame for this sign was put up many years ago by SWIFT when I was part of that woman's group. We started the Hanging Flower Baskets in Liverpol. A large sign was erected to thank all those businesses that sponsored the baskets. Since then Privateer Days has had a... sign there and the Region of Queens has had a sign. All with approval of Fred Lohnes who owned the building at the time. Now the new owner of Andorra Gallery has given me permission to use this space. When the election is over I will be donating this sign to Peter who is in the process of organizing an art project with local student artists. So hopefully soon you may see some wonderful locally produced artwork on the side of this building. I have been out door knocking. Not much time left. There are those that already know me and I am leaving my card in everyone's door. Some I get a chance to talk to, some I don't. I have been reaching out on social media to many District 2 residents. It's hard to know how people are feeling about people at their doors. My details are on the card. If you want to chat call me. I will chat anytime, anywhere you would like.

A long overdue announcement, but so welcome at this time. #RecreationForAll program from the Region of Queens Municipality Staff have worked hard through direction of Council to bring this policy to life. Incredible job as we see here today the support and enthusiasm for the program from @Dexter Construction company Limited, McInnes Cooper, HGS Canada Michelin South Shore Ready Mix Ltd Bell Aliant and others. Lunenburg/Queens Special Olympics will benefit through access to Queens Place Emera Centre. Well done everyone.
