Long sleeve Linen Viscose blend tunic with pockets- yes pockets!! This is one of my most popular designs, and colour! It is sustainably designed- what does that mean? It does not follow any trends, meaning you can wear it forever!... It is designed to be worn all seasons, meaning less seasonal pieces for you to buy. Wear as a dress, wear with jeans/leggings/tights, layer with a long sleeve underneath, wear as a tunic with a belt etc. When I lay the pattern & cut, there is very minimal fabric waste/offcuts. I designed the pattern this way. It is produced in Canada, by me- a human, and not by a machine, or a child/human being exploited. The garment is not shipped all over the world to middle men, to eventually be sold. So less carbon footprint. You are also supporting the Canadian economy by shopping local. Linen is one baddass sustainable fibre. I have lots of 100% Linen clothing.. And yes this one is blended with a bit of Viscose, however the compromise is this makes the Linen more flowy, which means I can make it a One Size. This means it suits and flatters many body types and is not limited to smaller sized people. It also means I don’t have to mass produce multiple sizes, which then don’t sell (Less waste & less expenses for me so I can continue operating!). There’s SO much that goes into producing clothing. But it is achievable to do it in a more sustainable way. Please consider supporting brands that implement sustainable practices.
