Here is an update on our current situation. We are doing our best to minimize contact between staff and customers, while ensuring that the most vulnerable in the city still have access to fresh, affordable food. We will keep you updated as the situation changes.

Happy Monday!! Grab your boots and a water bottle! Tomorrow is National Take A Hike Day! Step outside for some exercise to get your heart pumping and your lungs breathing in some fresh air. Besides the obvious enjoyment, hiking offers several benefits including: lower stress, improved mood and better mental wellbeing, ... reduced risk of heart disease, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol more control over body weight, lower body fat, increased bone density, increased flexibility and coordination better quality of life, and you can better the relationships with your friends and family! So, bundle up and get outside! We may live on the prairies but there are fantastic places around Regina to go for a hike. Here are a couple of my favorites! Wascana Trails - Take Highway 11 north out of Regina. Just over 10 kms north of Regina from the Highway 11 overpass you will turn left (west) on Grid 734. There is a sign that marks where the turnoff is. Follow the grid for another 10 kms until you hit the valley. There will be a sign that tells you to head south towards the trails. There is a parking lot at the entrance. White Butte Trails - Located 20 minutes East of Regina (about 3 km straight north of Emerald Park/White City) Nature Regina has lots of hiking options in and around Regina.
