Someone asked me the other day to do a list of my 10 favourite books. It was so HARD to choose! I love them all! So here are my faves this year: 1. Count to 100. So beautifully illustrated, and so much more to discuss with your kids than just counting. 2. Very first book of things to spot. Perfect for age 1 and up and will grow your kiddo... 3. That's not my owl. Truly anything from this series, babies love the textures on each page. 4. Little sticker dolly dressing. These have saved me more than a few times this year. I take these out to dinner or if the little miss has to tag along to appointments. She loves dressing the characters! 5. Magic painting. Just add water and the colours appear. I love these so much I sneak out of the book after little miss has gone to bed. 6. Sticker books. Who doesn't love a sticker book! I have one in my purse all the time. Again, saved my butt a few times. 7. What is Poo. Need I day more? But really this is a great lift the flap book. Did you know wombat poop is cube shaped? This is part of the very first questions and answers series and they are all fantastic. 8. Phonics stories. So great to read together. I particularly love the collections, 10 stories bound in a hardcover book. 9. Jig saw puzzles. These are newly popular in my house. And they each come with a book. Fairy tale versions have 30 pieces and picture puzzle versions have 100 pieces. 10. Wipe clean. Little miss is learning to write so we've been using the first letters and 123 but there are so many great ones. @ Kelowna, British Columbia
