SUMMER PROGRAMS ARE HERE! GET YOUR KIDS CAUGHT UP! We believe learning can be fun, which is a major value we follow at the Reading Room and Math Mentor Centre. Our program is fun, therapeutic and results based. We work with all types of learning issues and love working with kids that thrive in non-traditional methods. Our goal is to help children with their learning journey while making the process fun. We accept Autism Funding through MCFD.... We have added two new services to help, we now offer on-line learning via Zoom and Math Mentoring up to Grade 10. Here are all of our Summer Options to choose from based on your child’s needs. Option 1- The Catch Up Two hours per week, one Reading one Math but if your child is way behind in either subject, we can concentrate both hours on either subject. The price for two hours a week will be $278.25 including tax. This is a discounted option for families with two kids enrolled or with one child coming twice a week. Option 2- The Standard Our standard one hour per week working on Math, Reading and or Writing-Spelling. Option 3- One Week & Done If you prefer not to commit to coming (or Zooming) all summer but still want your child prepared for the fall, we are going to offer a one week intensive Math or Reading programs aimed at the fundamentals. A child will have four one-hour sessions each week. This option will be $168.00 and we will probably looking to start those in late July or August. Option 4- Kindergarten Prep Let’s begin Kindergarten with confidence! We have a fun game-based program for your kindergartner, which would include; Jolly Phonics: letter sounds Secret Stories: Cracking the Reading Code with the Brain in Mind! Printing Practice Sight Words Math Basics It’s once a week for 30 minutes and the cost will be $105.
