This is also a good chance to chat with them to see if they can qualify you at a good rate for a purchase or does it make more sense to port your mortgage. Have you Seen Them? Marketing plays a Huge roll in Selling a home. When choosing a Realtor make sure you check out how they will market your home!... Do you see lots of their Law Signage? Are they Posted on Billboards? What are they doing on Social Media? Professional Photos, Virtual Tours, Video, Drones? Do they have a big following, lots of content? Are they out in the community, do they have a large network? Do they have a good name within the community? All great things to consider

Use the Inner Force When searching for the right Realtor to represent you or your home, start with your Inner Circle! Friends - Your friends will be happy to share great experiences. If they have had one with a Realtor they will be happy to share that contact. Having a friend contact usually means there is some common ground there and should make the working relationship even stronger.... Talk to Family - Mom, Dad, Grandma & Grandpa have all bought and sold before. Maybe there is a long lasting relationship with your family and a local Realtor who would love to help the next generation of Buyers & Sellers in your family. Chat with Colleagues - New to town? Don't trust your friends? Outcast from your family? No worries, ask your work, hobby or sports colleagues, they will hook you up with a great Realtor! Ask a Furry Friend - Complete Introvert? Show Fido Online Pictures and videos. If his tail wags give that Realtor a Tag. If the teeth show its a no go!

How do you know they're the one? Online - The digital age has made it easier then ever to dig up the goods on people, this is no different for finding Realtors. Qualities - What do you want in a Realtor? Someone who has lived in the area for an extensive time? A proven track record? Utilizes technology? Someone who can make the process exciting, fun and educate at the same time?...all things to consider.... Compatibility - Like any relationship having common ground is huge. Choose someone who you feel may be empathetic to your situation; families, younger, older, single. You want to be somewhat relatable, this will help for communication & understanding throughout the entire process. Market Knowledge - Choose a Realtor who knows the market. A busy Realtor isn't a bad Realtor, this is usually a case of someone in demand for usually good reason. Again we encourage you to have a sit down interview with whoever you select and get a sense as to whether they know their stuff or not.

Finding the Right Realtor Finding a Realtor is like finding a temporary best friend for as long as it takes to move into your new home or sell it. You will spend countless hours with them searching, texting, calling, emailing, DM'ing etc.. ... It is worth doing your research before picking this new BF. Here's some pointers that may help you when choosing the right Real Estate Professional. Do your research - This is one of the biggest if not the biggest investment of your life. So its worth the time to do a little investigating, as there are plenty of sources you can use to find the right one. Referral from a Friend or Family - Do you know anyone who has purchased or sold recently? Would they recommend that Realtor? Maybe a family member has a long lasting loyal relationship with their Realtor and they would be happy to take care of you along the way. Check Online - We all have Google, Facebook, Instagram. Use them to do a search in your area, simply type in the area you are looking to purchase or sell and voila. Look at how engaged they are, do they have a professional online presence, do they have a following, how do their reviews look online, do they have awards for service? Meet your Realtor - Ok so now you have found what you hope to be the Jedi Realtor to lead you to the promise land.
