Lots of great new finds at Nellie’s Room - now reopened!

With the recent announcement that Leeds Grenville Lanark will be moving back into being a Green Zone as of this week, we are pleased to announce that the Merric...kville Book Emporium will be reopening tomorrow for in person shopping. We will be maintaining a limit of six customers to the store at a time, and masks and hand sanitizer are mandatory. We look forward to seeing people browse our shelves once more. Happy book-hunting! MonSky Creations is happy to announce that we are re-opening for in person shopping on Wednesday Feb. 17. We will resume our regular winter hours from Wednesda...y to Sunday. Monica has been busy making lots of new things. We are fully stocked with original pottery, fused glass, handmade soaps and the areas largest selection of essential oils. We are looking forward to seeing all our regular customers and to meeting lots of new ones. See more

It's Family Day, so today's Monday Merrickville Minute will give a shout out to a local family attraction - the Story Trail. Featuring picture book pages mounted on posts to read as you walk along the trail, this self-guided trail promotes reading and outdoor activity all year long. It's COVID-friendly family fun! The Story Trail is located on the Woodland-Toboggan Hill Loop next to Merrickville Public School. It is a joint project of the Merrickville & District Trails Society and Merrickville Public Library.

Getting ready to open to the public again on Tuesday. Lots of teas in stock.... some old favorites and definitely some new ones! I have some lovely Pouchong te...a ... Coconut Grove Pouchong which is smooth as a hot tea and also makes an excellent iced tea. Some new Oolong teas as well as new flavors of green tea. The Indian spice Chai is now in stock.
