Every year at this time, Realtors around the lower mainland team up to collect gently used clothing, blankets and other items to support the local charities and homeless shelters. Covid-19 has made it unsafe for us to handle these donations and as a result, shelters and charities will suffer more than usual with the reduction of warm and dry clothing being contributed. We still need to help these people and so this years focus is on gathering funds to donate to these charitie...s so they can support people in the best way possible. Will you contribute?

Have you seen the latest Fraser Valley Market Stats? The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board processed 2,231 sales on its Multiple Listing Service (MLS) in September, an increase of 66.1 per cent compared to the same month last year and an increase of 9.4 per cent compared to August 2020. This is the highest recorded sales for September in the history of FVREB. In the last three months, Fraser Valley has seen a defined shift in demand towards single family detached homes with s...ales in July through to September garnering 47 per cent of the three main residential types, compared to 43 per cent during the same period last year. The Fraser Valley Board also received a record number of new listings for September: 3,515, a 6.2 per cent increase compared to August’s intake and a 26.9 per cent increase compared to September of last year. September finished with 7,377 active listings, a decrease of 0.4 per cent compared to August and a decrease of 7.2 per cent year-over-year. In September, the average number of days to sell an apartment was 35; 25 for townhomes, and 28 for single family detached. This is me in my natural habitat. At the lake on my deck with a cold beverage in my hand after a day of gardening and playing with the kids in the lake. I haven't taken a day off work, in the midst of all of it I'm booking showings, making arrangements with clients and answering call on the properties I have for sale. Took my beautiful and very pregnant sister-in-law for dinner the other night to the newly opened Haven Kitchen + Bar! She's a chef and so her standards are high and boy were they met! This restaurant is setting the bar for dining in the Lower Mainland. The patio was beautiful. The food was delicious. The drinks were perfect. As if this wasn't enough already, on our way out we took a look inside at the lounge and the decor will make you feel like you're dining in a high end restaurant on Miami Beach! It's spectacular! If you are looking for a new local spot to check out this weekend I could not recommend a better place to check out and nothing beats being able to support the small businesses here in the Fraser Valley!
