Here are a few tips to win over other offers; 1. Place higher deposit ... 2. Submit offers over list price based on recent sold values 3. Have your mortgage broker provide a pre-approval letter to place with your offer. This will notify the sellers that your financing is in place and strong. 4. Reduce your condition dates for a shorter period to get your financing and inspections completed. 5. Submit a cover letter with a photo of your and/or family since homeowners often like to know the home is going to nice buyers 6. Type the offer on the computer so the wording / offer looks clean and legible. 7. Look for under valued homes and price your offer accordingly.
