Pleasantly surprised to have still made it into the Top 10% of Coldwell Banker First Ottawa for the 4th Quarter of 2020 despite having had a full knee replacement surgery on October 27th! Thanks to all my friends who helped me during the recovery period and my patient and loyal clients!! Happy to report the surgery was successful, and despite some discomfort still, I can walk kilometers and climb stairs with ease!

More units were sold this year in the residential class (marginally less condos were sold) compared to the previous year. We experienced continued decrease supply of properties for sale yet a growing amount of Buyer’s for the Ottawa area market. This has led to substantial price increases this year (over 20% price increase in the residential market class and just over 14% for condos.properties were selling on average in just over 30 days! We expect these market conditions to continue in the coming months due to the pent up demand.

"Driving Miss Suzie"..day 12 post knee replacement surgery...I sold 2 homes from the comfort of my home this week and now first outing to show homes far away (near Lancaster) but can't drive yet so..my friends the Buyers Lia and Pierre are driving me to the listing...I think I could get used to this!! Staples come out Nov 12th perhaps I can drive after that

The Ottawa Real Estate Board's monthly report is out - the Seller's market continues into the Fall months. Although the number of condo listings is finally increasing somewhat, a staggering 40 some percent less Residential (freehold) listings this year than last. Still time to make a purchase and be moved in before the New Year!
