My favorite wood is Maple Burl. Made this extra large coffee table for a very nice customers. The black river has silver sparkles , so it looks like night sky reflection. They are considering to get bigger house so could order more tables from me . This wood looks better and feels harder than gold. What’s your favorite wood?
