I love these two very close siblings! They fight like cats and dogs most of the time, but when the chips are down, they are there for one another. Before she went to her music concert he told her that she looked beautiful. After she fixed his wedge, she told him that he looked very dashing in his uniform. Then they mussed each others hair which started a rather vigorous game of tag. It is for moments like this that she loves to sing in the choir -- to express her feelings in song. It is for moments like this that he wants to serve in the military -- because everyone should feel free and safe to join a choir and express their feelings in song.

I was contacted by a client today, asking if I had a specific photo from her photo shoot last year. I was so happy to tell her that Yes! As a matter of fact, I DO! When you have a photo shoot from Reasons Studios, all of your photos are kept in archive to access at any time. If you would like a photo from your photo session, no matter how long ago that photo was taken, I will have it here! Lost a print? I can replace it. Need another copy? No problem! It has been a long winter! I am so glad to get back into the swing of things with the Treble Makers Women's Choir, Sharon Little, Chief Treble Maker. I had the pleasure of photographing their spring concert this weekend past, celebrating popular music after the end of World War II. What a spectacular concert! The choir is made up of wonderful ladies who are always ready to laugh. They are not professional singers, in fact some of them had never sung before joining and did not know how to read a single note of music! They are a welcoming and encouraging group for any lady between the ages of 12 and 102.

I cannot begin to express my pride in Canada, and the men and women who serve it this week. It has been a hard week, with many tears and scares. As a nation, we mourn the three Canadians who are dead this week, all three by a terrible inexplicable hatred. To the men and women of our Armed Forces, Security, Police, and First Responders I can only say: Thank you! We are immeasurably blessed by your bravery. I am personally very thankful for the Armed Forces Cadet program,... that two of my boys attend. I know that those same brave men and women who stand and guard our nation are instilling that same honour into my children. They are proud, they are confident, they are brave. A special word to the family of Mr. Bibeau: My heart goes out to you! Being a mother or a father or a sister or a brother in this mixed up crazy world is hard enough on a good day. Knowing that you were powerless to stop a great hatred from taking your beautiful boy is a hard burden to bear. Do not do it alone. Your country is here for you. We are here for you. I am praying for you, that you may find peace and understanding in this very difficult time.
