What about Kangen water and Cancer? Otto Warburg- won 2 Nobel Prizes for Medicine answers: What happens when a cell goes from being normal to being cancerous. This is the important discovery he made: As a cell changes from normal to cancerous, the way that it produces energy shifts. In general, a normal cell will make energy by burning glucose in the presence of oxygen. Cancer does something different. When it needs energy it doesn't use oxygen at all. It ferments sugar... in the absence of oxygen. 100% of all cancer cells make energy without oxygen, that's the shift that happens. The blood carries less oxygen when it is in an acidic environment, then the cell membrane becomes oxidized. Acids build up inside the cell. The red blood cell is now acidic. It really does carry less oxygen and then when it gets to the tissues, those cell membranes are all oxidized, so the oxygen that it has can't get into the cell. So the body is forced to make a decision. Is there enough oxygen here for me to make enough energy for me to survive. So, it makes a shift. It is forced to make energy by fermenting sugar. That is the shift towards cancer. Kangen water heals the cell membrane, making the cells less acidic and allowing it to normalize itself and for the blood to carry the normal amount of oxygen. It also allows the oxygen that gets to the cells and tissues to actually pass through the cell membrane. Now we have plenty of oxygen. We don't have to make that shift anymore. Our drinking water should not only be alkaline, that is, high in pH (potential hydrogen meaning antioxidants) it also should have a high ORP (oxidizing reduction potential.) Kangen water has a pH of 9.5 and an ORP as low as negative 800 depending on the source water. Cancer cells are aneorobic, they make wine. Acidity also allows bad bacteria, parasites, fungus, and viruses to grow. You don't change the acidity in the body by drinking alkaline water. You change the acidity in the body by getting healthy cells that can regulate their own pH. Again, Kangen water, being very alkaline, heals the cell membrane so it can function properly and carry oxygen.
