Today's Taproom Exclusive is called Northern Gruit. At 5.6% ABV, it's based on an ancient gruit recipe from some of the earliest beers. It features a blend of herbs harvested from Northern Saskatchewan, which lend to notes of lemon, tarragon, rosemary, and tea. It has a lovely floral/herbal tone and a supporting malt backbone.

Based on the Belgian, Brussels style, we aged it in oak barrels and added sour cherries from Over the Hill Orchards. It's bright, acidic and features ripe fruit flavours.
