Code red, my babes. This means I'll have to close my books for the time being while I get things done, since my dear helper, apprentice and all around saviour, @noelle_wood can't join me in the studio. Anyone who has already reached out, still drop your things off! Everyone else, sorry boos you'll have to wait until December.... Thank you so much to everyone for supporting small business during this time and always! I love doing your repairs (except for your jacket zipper replacements I hate those). Stay safe and rage against the government. #covid19 #smallbusiness #supportsmallbusiness #supportlocal #mending #sewing #update

Looking to sell this beauty! She's old but she is a workhorse. These machines last forever. Comes with a bunch of bobbins, attachments and buttonholer, and is in a mid-century cabinet. Asking $100! DM me if you're interested, and let your sewist friends know!... #sewing #sewingmachine #singer403 #singersewingmachine #vintage #vintagesewingmachine #forsale

Yikes I've got work to do! Books are closed until November! If you've already made arrangements with me, you're still in. But no new projects for now! Thanks for loving your clothes and making them last longer! #mending #sewing #mendingmovement #mender #makeyourclotheslast #smallbusiness #makedoandmend

7 Quilts By Alma! Alma makes all these quilts out of scrap fabrics given to her by other sewists. She continually cuts down scraps left over from a previous quilt into smaller and smaller bits for the next quilt, eventuallty ending up with what she calls a "bird's nest" of tiny scrap cuttings that can then be used as stuffing! The quilts with the tiny squares are called "Postage Stamp" quilts! Slides 1&2 - twin $100 each... Slide 3 - double $125 Slides 4&5 - "cuddle" $80 Slides 6&7 - crib/lap $60 DM me if you want to buy one! I'll be rotating stock from Alma's ever-growing collection. #handmade #quilt #scrapquilt #reusedmaterials #locallymade #quilts #buylocal #cozy #winteriscoming
