Like many things, you won't understand everything in the first meeting or two. You won't agree with everything and that's fine. It's a pretty simple and repetitive program, but it does take a while to digest the philosophy behind it and it only works by practice. Recovery training is not for everybody, but we suggest you try it out and a number of times before you decide if you can USE it. I can tell you from personal experience it changed my life, helped me lose most of my daily fears and gave me confidence I never had before. But yeah, I had to work hard at it when of course it is just so much easier in the moment to give up and revert to familiar patterns of thinking. And of course there were many instances of failure. What we learn in Recovery is try, fail, try, fail, try, succeed :) We do succeed!
