Hello everyone! Windsor Overdose Prevention Society has decided to start our very own Patreon page. This is a platform that allows our supporters to donate on a... monthly basis. You can donate as little as $1, but as much as you'd like. Anything helps! If everyone on this page donated a dollar, we would meet our monthly rent goal immediately! Our goal is to have enough money coming in monthly to help us rent a more permanent space in the downtown core. Please consider donating, and we thank you endlessly for standing with us. Had you not been supporting us from the beginning, we would be nothing without all of you. Our mission is to prevent drug overdose and promote the well being of people who use drugs. To reach this goal , Windsor OPS volunteers participate in: Street outreach Running a weekly Drop-In Centre to help support people who are experiencing poverty, homelessness, and people who use drugs. Distribution of harm reduction supplies & naloxone kits Community education and awareness Reducing the stigma surrounding substance use Promoting the philosophy of the Harm Reduction Model Fundraising/distributing donations Advocating for the establishment of an Overdose Prevention Site/Supervised Consumption Site in Windsor. Our Goals: Rent a permanent space for a Drop-In Centre and to be able to have a space open everyday with solidified hours so that people can use safely. Continue educating the public Obtain government funding Gain Charitable Status Never use alone --- Call Us --- (226) 246-5026
